Unique Summer Artist Point Wedding
About This Artist Point Wedding
L & Z wanted to have a unique intimate wedding with their close with friends and family in one of Washington’s most beautiful locations in the North Cascades at Artist Point! They wanted beautiful photos of Mt Baker, Mt Shuksan and get some stunning photos of them hiking in their wedding outfits. This couple also wanted to get some Norse Wedding traditions woven into their wedding day. They went all in on the details, from the hand-made rings made by the groom himself, to their shoe lace plaques of their wedding day and location, they made the best of their details that made their day so special.
Unfortunately, Z suffered a tragic accident and injured his leg and was unable to do the hiking that was originally planned for their elopement. However, this didn’t stop him from crafting his own walking stick and only using his crutches when absolutely needed. They wanted to long board during their wedding day but had their other friends do some of the long boarding around the park, it was so much fun to capture!
Some of my favorite moments included when they did a sword exchange in addition to a ring exchange. They wrote their vows in parchment and Z wrote his in runes. I had such an incredible time capturing this unique Artist Point wedding and am so thankful this couple trusted me to capture their wedding!
