About this Surprise Wedding Proposal
J and L made their journey from Ohio to Olympic National Park in hopes of exploring the Washington coast during the best time of the year in August. This couple are high school sweethearts and you can tell are perfect for one another. J contacted me about 2 months prior to their trip in hopes of finding someone who could capture the moment he proposes without L knowing. I helped him pick out his proposal location, got a picnic lunch packed, and was at the beach pretending to be a nature photographer as they rounded the corner onto the beach. We made brief eye contact and I got my cameras ready to capture the moment. J got down on one knee, not caring that his pants where now soaking wet because L said yes! I was so happy to have gotten that moment captured. She was totally surprised that her fiancé had orchestrated the whole thing. They spent the rest of the evening enjoying their beach picnic dinner, went into the tide pools to look at the sea life, ran, played, and had an incredible time. This surprise wedding proposal was so special and I am so glad this couple got their moment captured!
