About this Mount Rainier Wedding

A & J wanted to chase the best light for their Washington elopement in Mount Rainier. We all got up at 2 am, met each other at the trailhead by 3 am, and trekked up to one of Mount Rainier's most beautiful trails. We set up a pop up camper, staked it to the ground, and both of them changed. The mountain turned bright pink during sunrise while they shared their vows. They had the whole place to themselves during their ceremony, first dance, and portraits.

A wasn’t the biggest fan of wearing her wedding dress for longer than was necessary, so she changed out of her dress before we hiked back to the trailhead. We hiked back down where we set up a breakfast picnic at one of the picnic areas by the Sunrise visitor center. They shared some coffee, pastries, and some cake!

This couple wanted to have some photos of something they enjoy doing together: mountain biking! We then got back in our cars and drove a few minutes down the mountain where we took out our mountain bikes and biked along some nearby trails. It was an incredible day!

This couple showed that you can really do whatever you want for your wedding day. If that means only wearing your dress for 15 minutes because that is not your style, then do just that! Or if that means getting dirty instead and playing around with your bikes, that is perfect! The day is truly about YOU. I think this couple did just that.

This elopement was also featured in Zion Brides! You can check out their blog here!
