About this Intimate Olympic Peninsula Wedding
K & C travelled all the way from Tahoe, California to elope in Olympic National Park! They wanted to elope just them, their two adopted dogs, and her younger brother to officiate their wedding ceremony. They packed up their truck and made the long drive to Lake Ozette, located at one of the most north-western lakes in Washington.
Because fall brings on a lot of rain to Olympic National park, we all prayed for no rain and thankfully lucked out with an incredible sunny fall day for their wedding! They set up their tent and explored the park in the morning before their wedding before getting ready. They did their “engagement photos” for their Save the Dates that they were going to send even though they were going to get married just shortly thereafter. After wedding some engagement photos, they each changed into their wedding outfits and we walked to a beautiful open field tucked with some moss-covered trees. They laughed and cried as they shared their vows before they became officially married!
We explored some of the trails for some photos in the rainforest before heading back to the campground and inflating our stand up paddleboards. They floated and explored along the lake in their paddleboards before coming back to land and setting up a campfire. I had such an incredible time with these two, I was so thankful they trusted me with their day and let me join in on the fun by capturing their wedding!
